Welcome!

Harmony Meadows Alpaca is a small farm in Wellington County that focuses on breeding high quality animals for the purpose of manufacturing quality fibre goods and improving the Canadian herd.

Fibre from these beautiful animals is sold as raw fleece or can be processed into everything from yarns to socks to fine clothing. Even the lower quality fibre can be used in duvets and other felted goods.

Latest News from our Farm

April 27th, 2011 - We hosted the Fergus Beaver 'colony' (Scouts) on our farm for the second year in a row.  The kids and alpacas both had a lot of fun running about and by the end everyone was tired!

February, 2011 - It was with great sadness that we lost our first animal on the farm this winter. We had to make a really tough phone call to the vet to see Sunshower, our herd matriarch who was originally imported from Peru in 1995.  Sunshower has been part of our farm since the beginning and gave us two beautiful babies; Harmony's Silver Lining and Harmony's Black Magic.

If you have any questions at all about raising alpaca, we would be delighted to hear from you.
